Autism therapy centre and clinic

The National Light & Sound Therapy Centre is a registered NHS provider offering a specialised treatment for a variety of disabilities including autism, learning disabilities and behavioural problems. The Centre has pioneered the AIT Plus programme which aims to make a difference to some of the most distressing symptoms of autism. AIT is now well known and is used to treat children and adults with the following disabilities:

The Light and Sound Therapy Centre was founded in 1992 by Mrs Landau who has also worked for many years with people with learning disabilities. Initially, two practitioners in auditory integration training from the US were invited to treat nine children. The improvements seen were considered sufficient to warrant making the treatment available to larger numbers of people and The Light & Sound Therapy Centre was consequently set up.

Since then over 800 children and adults have been treated with the unique AIT PLUS combination treatment, which is not available anywhere else in the world. The treatment is a combination of Auditory Integration Training, Light Therapy and a Sound Modulation system which has a 46% chance of making a major improvement to your child.
